Mrs. Greg was found as a stray in poor condition and taken to a shelter, but due to her serious health issues — parvovirus and sarcoptic mange — she was transferred to Austin Pets Alive! for better care.
Despite the odds, she survived parvo and began a slow recovery from mange. Her fur didn’t grow back for a long time, raising concerns about her adoptability. But one woman, Olivia, saw her true beauty and adopted her.
Now named Winnie, she continued to face health challenges but remained happy and strong. To everyone’s surprise, Winnie eventually grew a thick, fluffy coat — a heartwarming transformation for a once hairless pup.
