Friendship of two sick dogs that would have been death saved their lives and found comfort and warmth
The love of animals is genuine; they deserve to be loved by their owner. Dogs have unconditional love; even though they desperately need to be loved, they can still love!
I love animals, they are better than humans, they are true! Every day that passes I believe more in the true love of irrational animals.
Two puppies showed that friendship can overcome everything, that’s what happened with Jeremiah and Neal.
The comfort and warmth of their friendships saved their lives.
The two arrived at a shelter in Texas as abandoned dogs. They were taken in separately, and they were alone, abandoned in this world.
That’s when Jeremiah, the little dog, spotted Neal and went over to him, then ended up lying on top of him. The scene moved shelter staff, who turned to Stacey Silverstein, the founder of Rescue Dogs Rock NYC, for help. When she saw them, she couldn’t say “no.”
“Jeremiah was seeking comfort, and Neal was accepting that,” Stacey said.
“They knew they were in danger.” This is because the shelter they were taken to, most of the time ends up “euthanizing” animals.
If Stacey hadn’t stepped in, the two puppies would likely have died. This is the sad reality of high-kill shelters. Many sick or injured dogs, pregnant or perfectly healthy, end up being euthanized.
Stacey ended up rescuing another dog named Jagger, who was in the same enclosure as the two puppies.
The 3 rescued dogs had mange and Jeremiah had an eye ulcer that could result in blindness.
After being rescued, the dogs underwent medical treatment and once they recovered, they will be available for adoption.
“They are amazing puppies,” Stacey commented.
“They are very nervous and are in the recovery phase.
Obviously, they’ll be fine in a few weeks. But they’re all puppies—so cute and loving. We hope they recover quickly so they can come here to New York to be adopted into perfect homes.
They will surely recover soon and find a loving, caring home. They will never go through the same suffering again. We hope that the two friends, Jeremiah and Neal, are adopted together.
Because they don’t understand cruelty, an animal doesn’t know when it’s been abandoned. And it will always wait for your return.
Shelters aren’t the solution for homeless animals. They only remove the problem from our sight.
Always take good care of dogs! They’re our best friends and only want affection. Want someone who listens to you and then gives you affection? Just think about getting a dog. They’re experts at it.
