A desperately malnourished mother dog, along with her three young puppies, was recently rescued after enduring significant neglect and abuse.
According to reports, the dogs’ previous owner had kept the mother tethered in a damp area without providing food, leaving her feeling lonely and distressed for several days.
Infested with fleas and ticks and visibly underweight, the once-beautiful dog, now named Chukra, is on a path to recovery with her little ones.
Upon their rescue, the mother dog displayed a heartwarming spirit despite her condition, clearly grateful for the intervention. Her puppies, named Gala, Chicho, and Musa, are now under proper care and will no longer experience neglect.
The rescue team promptly transported Chukra to a veterinary clinic, where tests revealed issues such as low platelet and hemoglobin levels, as well as a positive result for a tick-borne disease known as ehrlichiosis.
The puppies, like their mother, received much-needed medical attention. They were treated with special medications to eradicate the fleas and ticks, and have begun transitioning from milk to solid foods.

Baby Gala is receiving specific treatment for her eyes, and caregivers are optimistic that any potential vision problems will be resolved quickly.
Today marks an important milestone for this canine family. Chukra’s health has significantly improved—she is gaining weight and shows a lovely, affectionate nature.

Meanwhile, the puppies received their first set of comprehensive vaccinations, signaling a healthy start to their lives.
The good news continues with all three puppies, Gala, Chicho, and Musa, being adopted into loving homes. Chukra and her babies are finally stepping into the joyful, fulfilling lives they deserve.
