While driving back to the countryside, volunteers from Paw Shelter noticed a puppy alone on a busy road. Concerned for its safety amidst the passing traffic, they decided to rescue the little canine.
Despite the rainy weather having left his fur damp, the puppy exhibited an endearing and curious nature. Eager to ensure his well-being, the team provided him with food, noting that he appeared to be in relatively good health.
To help him feel more at ease, especially as he seemed startled by the sounds of barking dogs, they placed him in a quiet, empty cage.
The shelter soon named the puppy Pingan, and he’s become a joyful part of their animal family. Pingan has special needs due to the absence of a limb, requiring extra care and attention.
With regular treatment, he has grown lively and energetic, even forming a bond with another dog, Doudou, whom he seems to regard as a mother figure.
Seeing Pingan thrive in his new environment has been a heartwarming experience. “He is a reminder of how important it is to care for animals, especially those who need it most,” a shelter representative shared.
“We are thrilled to provide him with a safe and loving home.”
