Abandoned and scared, a sweet American bulldog mix named Mr. Snufflufugus was recently found wandering the streets of Copperas Cove, Texas. Local animal control brought him to safety, where he quickly charmed the staff with his loving personality.
Animal control supervisor Tamara Hall became his favorite person, and during one play session, Mr. Snufflufugus wrapped her in a heartfelt hug—a moment captured in a now-viral photo. Known as a cuddle bug, he adores snuggling, climbing into laps, and giving sweet, soulful looks to anyone nearby.
Though he enjoys short walks, Mr. Snufflufugus is mostly a laid-back couch potato. After his story spread, the shelter was flooded with adoption interest. Due to limited resources, staff are working to transfer him to a larger rescue that can carefully match him with his forever family.
Until then, Mr. Snufflufugus is soaking up love from his shelter friends—and saving plenty of hugs for the special family waiting to bring him home.
